Catherine Vaughan
Catherine has built a career launching, leading, and advising mission-driven organizations. In 2016, Catherine founded Flippable, an organization focused on electing Democrats to state legislative races. After Flippable merged with Swing Left in 2019, Catherine served as the organization’s Co-Executive Director, overseeing programs that raised $25M and mobilized over 35M voter contacts in the 2020 election. Catherine has also advised dozens of nonprofits and philanthropies, both as an independent advisor and as a consultant with The Bridgespan Group and McKinsey & Company. She lives in Park Slope and serves on Brooklyn Community Board 6.

Robert has spent more than a decade in public service. He joined Abundance New York from the CHIPS Program Office where he served as Chief of Staff for Strategy, advancing U.S. industrial policy and economic development. Before that, he led housing and transportation portfolios in the U.S. Senate and worked to improve response and recovery programs at the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He started his career as a journalist in Tunisia. Robert was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where he now lives.

Katie Muehlenkamp
Katie’s experience spans the government, nonprofit, and private sectors. Until recently she owned and operated two small businesses in Brooklyn, where she built teams, scaled operations and drove membership growth. Previously, she served in San Francisco city government, helping advance legislation and leading communications strategy for the Assessor. She's also worked in political research, labor organizing, and on national political campaigns. Katie is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service, concentrating on public policy and strategic leadership. She serves on Brooklyn’s Community Board 6 and lives in Carroll Gardens with her husband and two children.

Samir is a technology professional turned political data analyst. He started his career working at marketing and AI startups in Silicon Valley. He has spent the last 6 years using data to elect Democrats. He was a data analyst on the Biden for President campaign in 2020, a Deputy Data Director for Phil Murphy's re-election in New Jersey in 2021, and now consults with Democratic campaigns and PACs at Blue Rose Research across races up and down ballot. He lives in Murray Hill and serves on Manhattan Community Board 6.
